Fall Trends 2016

It's officially Fall as of last week even if it still feels like summer in Oklahoma...but hey, if you can order a PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) from Starbucks, then it is Fall. Maybe the leaves will change colors next week...there is nothing wrong with some wishful thinking. No matter if the weather actually changes, we are loving us some Fall clothes. There is just something special about sweaters, boots and beanies. Beyond the basics, these are the trends this upcoming Fall!
Textures: Corduroy, Suede, Velvet
Thicker, more luxurious fabrics have arrived. Spice up your outfits with textures like velvet, corduroy and suede. It adds more dimension and extravagance for any occasion.
Colors: Camel, Burgundy, Olive
We love beautiful color pairings. This Fall offers some jewel tones like navy and crimson, with a lot of neutrals like camel, honey, and a soft olive. Game day outfits just transcended Saturday football--crimson, cream, even burgundy? They are perfect this season. Mix and match by pairing your crimson with some camel and your cream with olive.
Fringe
Okay, we're calling it. The next few trends are the 70s reincarnated. Suede fringe? Bell bottoms? Wood clogs? You better believe it because we're getting groovy over here. Invest in a suede fringe vest for your Fall wardrobe. It is a versatile piece that you can pair with almost anything--a dress, t-shirt, or even a sweater. It adds a statement to your look.
Bell Sleeves
Embrace the flowy boho look with bell sleeves. Your sleeves will flutter as you walk as an added detail to your dress.
White Faux Fur
The more you look like a marshmallow, the better. Just kidding! White fluffy, crazy soft faux fur vests, cardigans and jackets are all the rage. Bundle up in a chunky white sweater with some of the Fall season's jewel tones.
Cold Shoulder/Off the Shoulder Tops
Despite the weather changing, we're rocking the colder shoulder! The open arm detail and exposed shoulders are too pretty to pass up. These tops are great transitional pieces from the warmer days into Fall.
Denim, Distressed Jeans and Bell Bottoms
Denim, denim, denim. We're a bit denim obsessed with denim jackets, button down tops, but especially jeans. Once you finally find the perfect fitting jeans it's like the stars align. Two of our favorite styles are the bell bottoms and distressed skinny. Bell bottoms are back!!! Either pull yours out from the 70s or snag a pair ASAP. They have always been flattering, making your legs look more proportional. Distressed skinnys have been around the past few years but you seriously can not go wrong with a little ripped denim.
Clogs
Fall textures are showing up in shoes in the form of wood and suede. Wood block heel clogs are cute and comfortable. Clogs are a great everyday shoe. They are adorable with jeans and a simple white t-shirt, but also look great dressed up.
Open Toe Booties
Until the days of snow, our toes will be peeking out of our boots. This Fall we are seeing cozy layering of leggings, tunics, and scarves paired with open toe booties.
Over the Knee Boots
Make a statement and wear it over the knee. These boots can be worn now on the warmer days with a dress or shorts. Once it cools down, you can easily pair them with tights, leggings, or even jeans. We've been day dreaming about these beauties.
Cheers to the falling of leaves, apple cider and pumpkin carving. For more details about any of the Fall trends, check out our website.
